Happy New Year

I can't believe that my vacation is pretty much coming to an end.  It flew by...where did it go?  We have been busy around here on vacation filled with parties, and laundry, and organizing, and trying to find a home for all of the presents.  Fun.

Hubz has been home for the last few days so that has been nice.  He will be home today and tomorrow too.  I am glad, maybe the kids will let us spend some time together.

My sister gave me two awesome books for Christmas.  The first one is called Go Put Your Strengths To Work by Marcus Buckingham.  What a great book.  It has all sorts of hints and tricks on how you use your strengths that you already have instead of always improving on your weaknesses.  Now I just have to find out what my strengths ARE, then I can put that book to good use.  I think Buckingham has a book about finding your strengths, I need to order that soon.  The other book is called Inside My Heart by Robin Mc Graw.  I am almost finished reading it and I highly recommend it.  It's about her life and how she does things now.  She wants to show you how her life has power and purpose and how yours can too.  It's a good read.

So yes, I have been reading quite a bit on vacation.  I haven't read in a long long time, so now I am back into it.  I love it.  It's empowering.

I just want to wish you all a Happy New Year, a blessed New Year, and that it is even better than last year!

I've been on vacation since 12/21 and I can't believe I have to go back to work on Wednesday - WAH!

That book by Buckingham sounds great - I really like the idea of working with what I already have. I just checked and they have it at my library so I think I'll be checking it out :)

Happy New Year!!
