My New Tat

Okay, okay, don't be mad that I didn't tell you that I was going to get a tattoo, but I wanted it to be a surprise!

Here it is:

Dscf2361

You are probably wondering what it means.  It means "Om", the union of mind, body, and spirit.  The ultimate reality.  The oneness of everything in the world.  I love it!

I was going to go locally, but the guy was going to make us wait HOURS to get it done, so my mom decided to take me to South Street instead.  In and out, and a whopping $120.00 later.  It only took him about 10 minutes to do, and the pain wasn't bad at all, because thankfully I took 3 Aleve before I went!  It was good.

Enjoy!  I know I will.  I need to find some really cool up-dos to wear now!

And She Walks In My Shoes

I get a notice from school yesterday that my sweet daughter wants to take music lessons at school!  WOO HOO!  She is going to play flute.

This thrills me to no end, because I was in the band from seventh grade all through high school.  You name it, Marching Band, Concert Band, Jazz Band, I was in it.  I just loved it, and I have a lot of great memories from those years.

So for Madylin to want to do music too, just like Mommy did, wow.  What can I say?  I ran right out to the music store and rented a flute for her.  I am so excited.  I must admit I enjoyed playing it as soon as we got it home.  I played saxophone in the band, but the flute has the same notes so it's easy.  So here is me playing Victor Vito for Benny on the flute.  Fun stuff.  I hope once Maddy gets into it she will still share it with me!

Homework

I must say that I am pleasantly surprised as to the homework load difference from Catholic school to public school.

Last year, when they were in the Catholic school, the homework seemed to be one thing in each subject every night.  Lots of studying and lots of math.  This year, they have maybe one or two things a night to do.  What a joy!

Okay, so I am finally getting used to the new school and the whole routine.  They are happy there, so that makes me happy.  Hooray!

You Don't Bring Me Flowers

Usually most people would want their husbands or boyfriends to bring them flowers.  It took a while until Hubz got the picture and would get me daisies instead of roses (I don't like roses because they just die too fast).  He would go every other week and get me a bunch of flowers.  Aww how sweet.

Now, instead of flowers he brings me 2 dozen of the most beautiful flowers called Coronas.  These flowers cost a little more, but they make me a much happier lady.  Oh beautiful Coronas, with your long stems and beautiful golden interior.  I just love you.

Can't Live Without It

Our microwave just died.  Just crapped out.  We were hoping that maybe it tripped the breaker, but no.  Just kaput.  Not that old either, but boy did it get a lot of use.

Sure, you think that you can go a few days without a microwave, no way!  Not around here.  With Ben and his hot dogs, and having to make microwave waffles for breakfast in the morning, how would I survive.  The kid is begging me for a hot dog, yes, I could boil it on the stove, but honestly, I don't think he would eat it!

How did we survive without the wonderful appliance Mr. Microwave.  I honestly don't know.

Ooh a shiny new microwave.  That's great!  Now I don't have to clean the old one, HA!

The Neuter

Today we are taking Sammy to get neutered.  It's time.  And he has been humping everything in sight!

We are hoping it will calm him down a bit.  I mean I know he is still in puppy mode and all, he is only 10 months old, but we hear it could help.  What do you think?

We love this pup and will miss him overnight.  What a whopping bill this whole thing is.  Sheesh.  Don't let anyone ever tell you that dogs aren't expensive, between the food and all of the vet visits.  Oh and of course when you have a shopping spree at PetSmart, tee hee.

I love dogs, I think they are great.  What do you think, are you a dog or cat lover?

Feeling Soooooooo Much Better

I can't believe the difference already.  Not taking the Zoloft, or Vitamin Z as Hubz calls it.  Sooooo much better.

I feel like me.  My head is clearer, I feel like I actually have something to say, I am more talkative and more loving, more caring.  I actually helped a little old lady find walnuts at the Trader Joe's yesterday.  I haven't done something like that in a long time.  I just keep to myself, ignoring others.  I was bad.  I hated me.

Damn you Vitamin Z.  Making me feel like a zombie for so long.  So many people commented on how I was lately that I am glad I decided not to take you anymore.  You suck.  Maybe not for others, but you suck for me.

I am still not telling the doctor LOL!

Feeling Stupid

Did you ever do anything just so stupid that you could kick yourself?  Well I did just that.

Ever use My CheckFree?  It's a great site where you can pay your bills online.  I use it all the time.  Hubz had his account in there and I have mine.  He pays his bills and I pay mine, except for one.

The insurance bill.  A whopping $180.00 a month, ended up coming out of my account instead of his.  I am fucked.  Stuff will be bouncing all over the place.  Go me.

I am such an ass.  Just a click of a dropdown menu and none of this would have happened.  Duh.
