Maddy's First Sleepover
Maddy had her first sleepover this past weekend. Not the kind of sleepover where she is with a relative, a real, live sleepover with a friend that lives on our street. Kinda scary.
The kids just run up to us and say, "C asked me to sleepover, can I? Can I? Pleeeeeease?" And we said we would have to talk about it. So we did, Hubz thought it was okay, especially since it was just right down the street. So we said okay, but we wanted to talk to C's mom first.
Next think you know, C's mom is walking down our driveway to talk to us. She said that the girls just kind of told her that Maddy was sleeping over LOL! OH kids. So we chatted for a while, exchanged phone numbers, and the kids went up to Maddy's room and started packing.
It's kind of scary for me to have her sleep over at a stranger's house. Well kind of strangers to me, I don't really know them, but I have to think back to when I was a kid, and how the sleepovers went. Alot of times I went for a sleepover and my parents hardly knew their parents. What am I supposed to go down there and supervise??
All was just fine, Maddy and C had a great time. I guess I have to just be gray on the subject until I get used to the sleepover idea. I also will have to invite kids to sleepover here too, I guess. Sheesh.

My first sleepover, I had to call my mother at 10 PM and hear her voice because I was flipping out so much.
