Afrin

Note to self...squirt some Afrin up your nose next time before you go to a massage...LOL!

Thai Massage

Have any of you ever experienced a Thai massage before?  I had one, and I have an appointment for another one tonight.

Massaging, stretching, I can't wait.  I love the scalp massage, that is my favorite part!

Conversationalist

I have always wished that I could just get up in front of a bunch of people and give a fabulous presentation.

I have always wished that I could actually strike up a conversation, instead of someone just asking me questions and I am answering them.

I can blog blog and blog some more.  But the face to face conversation aspect of it, not so good.

I have been thinking about maybe joining Toastmasters, but just the thought of it scares the crap out of me.

Have you ever done this?  Do you have any advice for me?

The Frantic Woman's Guide To Feeding Family and Friends

Are you the type of family that says, "What's for dinner?" almost every night of the week, like we are?  If so...

I just want to tell you about this fabulous new book I have discovered called The Frantic Woman's Guide To Feeding Family And Friends.

This book has recipes for each season and easy to read shopping lists for the recipes.  Wonderful!

It's a must have.  What are you waiting for?  Go order it!

Busy Weekend Ahead

We have such a busy weekend awaiting us.  Which I like, actually.

Tonight Benny, Hubz and I are taking a field trip to Whole Foods Market (one of my favorite places to go, but it is so far away that its a rarity), while MJ goes to Bingo with my SIL.  I can't wait.

Then tomorrow Hubz and I are going down to the post office to get our passports so we will be ready for our trip to Jamaica in April.

In the afternoon my sis, her Hubz and son are coming over to hang out for the evening.

Then Sunday is yoga.

Busy is good!

We Told Them

We finally told the kiddos about switching schools.  Benny really wasn't paying attention (and he will be fine anyway), but MJ, oh boy.

We all laid down on the bed (which seems to be a good place to give rough news), and told her that she was going to a new school next year because Mommy and Daddy just couldn't afford the new tuition that her present school is asking for now.  There were tears.  Lots of tears.  Then she said something really cute.  She said, "I will give you all the money I have so I can stay at that school."

After the tears and explaining, she calmed down a bit.  Then she was upset about missing her friends, and that she knows all the teachers there because it is a small school.  We told her that she can still be friends with them, and we can have playdates, and that she will make lots of new friends at the new school.  She seemed okay with everything after a while..

Then all of the questions about the new school jumped in.  We answered them the best we could.  We are going to try to set up a time so that she can meet the principal and get a tour of the school.  She seemed happy with that idea.

So all is well.  Worry, worry, worry for nothing.  What else is new?

Note To Self

Um...note to self...don't put your first knitting projects online because no one really gives a shit.  Tee hee.
